Greetings from your friends at Capital Baptist Church

Have you considered all that God has done for you lately?  Shall we begin where the Psalmist takes up his praises?  “Who forgives all your sins.”  That’s a declaration of God’s daily activity in the lives of His people.  Though we’ve sinned, God has not paid us back accordingly.

There is a reason for this fact.  We shouldn’t try to rationalize or excuse the sinful behaviors that damage our lives and those of our loved ones, nor the underlying attitudes which drive those behaviors.  God does not overlook our sins.  Rather, He forgives us our sins.  He does this for one reason, and one reason only.

He is able to forgive us our sins because the Lord Jesus paid the penalty for each of us by dying on the cross.  Those who will turn from sin and place their faith in Him will experience the grace and mercy of God.  Have you experienced His grace?

This is the Christian message.  It’s the message we emphasize and seek to grow in as we covenant together to become “one body in Christ.”  We’d love to see you this Sunday at one of our services.  Stop on by.  We know that you’ll want to share the blessing of God’s amazing grace.
